Well kids, it's that time of year again. Dust off the those bowties, gather up that courage and ask your favorite Yacht Clubber, cause we're throwing another Sadie Hawkins dance. This year it'll be bigger, better and far more interesting than last year. Open bar, fancy finger food, dance all night and make some babies, why don't you?

Who: Um, if you have not figured this out by now...

What: Our annual Sadie Hawkins Dance Party of Awesome benefit, fundraiser, moneymaker, etc.

When: Saturday, August 25th 8-11pm

Where: The Carondelet House 627 S. Carondelet St. Downtown Los Angeles, 90057

Why: In order for us to continue providing programs and funding existing ones at recreations centers in L.A., we need help from fine folks like you every so often to help us meet our goals. This benefit will help us to create a kids dodgeball league, gardening course, expand our healthy cooking classes, yoga, screenprinting and certify our volunteers in crucial CPR training.

As you know by now (unless you are in some serious jury sequestering situation), the Yacht Club's mission is to help fund and create innovative programming at struggling recreation centers in Los Angeles. In order to expand and continue this goal of helping at-risk youth, we need to fundraise. This is where you come in. By attending our Sadie Hawkins dance, you are not only showing that you support what the Yacht Club does but you are directly impacting your community. And for that, we thank you.

Past Projects

Last year's event was attended by nearly 350 people. This year, we are getting all fancy on you in a downtown location. Fancy sometimes means smaller (but not in that way), so this year, we only have 300 spots. Get 'em while they're hot!

What are the details?

Only 32 spots on each bus are available.
One pick up is Oakwood Rec. (Venice)
One is Noho Rec.
We'll take you to the dance, then back to the rec center at the end of the night.
